Department: Classics
Academic position: Lecturer II in Classics (Latin)

Academic background:

I did my BA (2016) and MA (2018) at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and came to Oxford to read for a DPhil in 2018.

Research interests:

My research area is Latin literature of the Augustan and Early Imperial age, especially poetry. More specifically, I focus on Senecan tragedy: my DPhil explores how the highly intertextual heroines of Seneca’s dramas embody forces of vengeance. In addition to this, I have an interest in reception, particularly that of Seneca in French theatre of the Early Modern era.
