I studied at the University of Plymouth and achieved a dual honours degree in Business and French. Following graduation I studied and worked in France, London and Oxford as a project manager in the marketing industry. After having children, I returned to work as Pastoral Manager within a thriving Sixth Form college. I joined Magdalen College as Fellows’ Administrator in April 2016.
Role in the College
My role as Fellows’ Administrator is diverse and interesting in equal measure. I report to the Clerk of the College and assist in the preparation of documentation for College and Fellowship Committee Meetings. I also maintain records, lists and re-election details for all Fellows of Magdalen College. In my role to the Vice-President I assist in the preparation of documentation for meetings of the Senior Common Room. I help organise events such as May Morning, the Waynflete Dinner and the Fellows’ Christmas Dinner. I also provide administrative support to the Chattels Fellow who is responsible for cataloguing and restoration of the chattels of the College. As well as providing administrative support to the President, I administer two annual Fellowship election schemes, administer and design the annual College Record, and coordinate the many dinners and receptions that are held in the Lodgings.
