Background
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Biology and a Stipendiary Lecturer in Biology at Magdalen College. I completed my undergraduate in Nutrition in Helsinki, Finland, where I am originally from, before moving to Oxford in 2017. I have an MSc in Immunology and a DPhil in Biology. My research mainly focuses on the gut microbiome and epigenetic ageing in both humans and other species. I am particularly interested in early life processes and how they contribute to health and disease later in life.
