Role in College
I split my time between the college’s Libraries and Archives, assisting with an exciting variety of projects, from cataloguing, enquiries, and acquisitions, to exhibitions, and outreach, as well as helping with the day-to-day running of the library desk. When I’m not at Magdalen, I’m taking part in the Bodleian Libraries traineeship program, as part of their 2026 cohort. I can be found in the archives Mon-Tues, and in the Longwall Library Thurs-Fri.
Background
Before joining Magdalen, I completed my BA in History of Art at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on Scandinavian Modernism, architectural history, and the history of collections. During my studies, I helped to run the Newnham Queer Archive, where I was responsible for writing acquisitions policy and curating exhibitions. I also volunteered for the Pembroke College Archive, where I completed a range of cataloguing projects from the 16th century to the present day. I am currently a Young Producer at the National Portrait Gallery, and a transcription volunteer for Suffolk Archives.
