Fellows’ Guest Room Booking Request
The College has a small number of Fellows’ Guest Rooms. Subject to availability, these may also be booked by Magdalen Students and Alumni, no earlier than one week before the arrival date. No booking may exceed three nights; these rooms are primarily for guests of Fellows and availability in term time is very limited; there is only one single room. Alumni may book a room for themselves only, and not for third parties. We regret the College is unable to accommodate children of any age. Guest rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Please fill in all the information requested in the form below to request a Fellows’ Guest Room. You will receive an automated email response to your request. You will then receive a follow-up email from the College to confirm if there are rooms available. Alumni will then be asked to pay in advance by card to secure the booking; Fellows and Students may be batelled. In view of the heavy demand for rooms and the modest rates charged, rooms cancelled are not normally refundable.
For the year commencing 1st August 2019, the charge for students’ guests and alumni will be £96.15 for a double or twin room, or £48.05 for a single room, both rates incuding VAT but not breakfast. (Breakfast is available Monday to Saturday in the Buttery, for cash).
Fellows’ Guest Rooms are not available to students and alumni on the nights of Gaudies or other Alumni events (standard room bookings as part of an event are made direct with the Development Office), or on 30th April; 8th May; 26th and 27th June; 17th, 18th, 19th July; 30th August; 1st September; 24th and 25th September; 4th October 2020; and 22nd December 2020 to 3rd January 2021, all dates inclusive. Excluded dates in 2021 will be published late in 2020.
