Raghul Ravichandran

Raggy is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Engineering Science, having recently completed his DPhil. He has been a sub-dean for 3 years, and has a lot of experience of the academic and social sides of Oxford college life. He also spends time volunteering in Oxfordshire, and can be found on an early morning on Addison’s no matter the weather! Raggy grew up in Manchester, and did his undergraduate degree at Imperial College London. 

Sub-Deans live in College and provide out-of-hours welfare support, alongside the Porters.  They are on duty on a rota basis from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM Monday–Friday and throughout the weekends. In emergencies they can be contacted by phoning the porters. They are also available for friendly chats if you need someone to talk things through with and you’re not sure where to go.
