Toby is a third-year DPhil Student in Cardiovascular Science at Magdalen.
He previously studied Pre-clinical Medicine at Worcester and hopes to complete the clinical medicine course after his DPhil. Toby is currently in his first year as a Sub-Dean at Magdalen and is enjoying the role so far. Outside of college, he also plays cricket for the University.
Sub-Deans live in College, and help provide welfare support outside of normal working hours, alongside the Porters.
Feel free to stop them and say “Hi!” if you spot them around College; they’re always happy to have a chat and are on duty on a rota basis from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM Monday–Friday and throughout the weekends.
