I am currently a Stipendiary Lecturer and Researcher in Law at Magdalen, while I am on the final stage of my DPhil in Law at Brasenose College and I co-convene the Public Law Discussion Group. Before coming to Oxford, I studied law at the University of Athens and I was awarded two master’s degrees, one from the University of Athens (LLM in Public Law) and one from the Université Paris Panthéon-Assas (Master 2 Droit public approfondi).
These academic experiences shaped my interest in constitutional theory, which I now pursue in my thesis, in which I attempt to answer the question whether sovereignty is a necessary or, at least, a possible characteristic of the state and, if so, what the institutional consequences that follow from that are.
In terms of teaching, I teach Constitutional and EU Law at Magdalen. I have previously taught Constitutional Law Trinity College as a Retained Lecturer and at the Opportunity Oxford programme. I have also taught European Union Law at the Université Paris Panthéon-Assas (online programme) and at a summer school organised by SciencesPo Paris.
