Professor Tim Donohoe, Tutorial Fellow in Chemistry at Magdalen, has won the Charles Rees Award of the Royal Society of Chemistry for his contributions to modern heterocyclic chemistry.
The award is named after Charles Rees, a former President of the Royal Society of Chemistry. It is given to reward excellence in the field of heterocyclic chemistry. The award covers the synthesis, properties and applications of all types of heterocyclic compounds which are molecules containing at least two different elements in a ring.
