On Wednesday 24th April at 3.00pm, BBC Radio 3’s weekly live broadcast of Choral Evensong will come from the Chapel of Magdalen College, Oxford.  The Choir will sing a setting of the canticles written for the College in 1970 by the composer Herbert Howells, alongside music by Charles Villiers Stanford, the centenary of whose death is marked this year, and by Roxanna Panufnik.

Those wishing to attend the service in person are asked to be seated in the Chapel by 2.45pm.  The service will be repeated on Radio 3 on Sunday 28th April at 3.00pm, and will be available for up to a month on BBC Sounds.
