Michael Harris, Visiting Fellow at Magdalen during Trinity Term 2009, is Professor of Mathematics at the Université Paris-Diderot. He and his research group has been awarded the Grand Prix Scientifique Simone et Cino del Duca de l’Institut de France. He is currently chief editor of the Journal de l’Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, and while at Oxford is primarily collaborating with Professor Raphaël Rouquier, Fellow in Mathematics.
