The Prime Minister has announced that the next Bishop of Winchester will be Canon Tim Dakin, General Secretary of the Church Mission Society.
The College was founded by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester, in 1458 and since that time the Bishop of Winchester has always been the Visitor of the College.
