On 17 January 2012 Professor Constantin Coussios gave his Inaugural lecture in the University Examination Schools. The lecture was Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor Andrew Hamilton and the title was “Engineering and non-invasive therapy and drug delivery”. The Professorship of Biomedical Engineering is associated with Magdalen College and Professor Coussios is the first holder of the chair. In his lecture Professor Coussios described his research on using ultrasound techniques to enhance the delivery of drugs.
