This Friday (13th February) will be our termly Old Library Open Day, a chance to visit our magnificent historic library and see some interesting items from our collections. This term the exhibition is Judging a book by its cover: Bindings in Magdalen College Library, with a wide selection of different book bindings on display, from manuscripts to William Morris.
The Old Library will be open from 12 midday to 2pm and from 4pm to 6pm, with entry via the Summer Common Room on Cloisters Staircase 3. There is no need to book, just drop in and please feel free to bring friends or family. There will be library & archives staff on hand throughout these times to talk to you about the exhibition and our collections.
