It was an exciting week for the Magdalen crews in the rowing races of Eights Week 2014. The Men’s First Boat (shown in the photograph) bumped both Wolfson and Univ to move up to 4th place in the First Division and defeated a strong challenge from Trinity College on the final day. The Men’s Second Boat achieved a bump on all four days to win blades for the crew.
The Women’s First Boat bumped Pembroke to move up to 4th place on the Wednesday (their highest ever position) but slipped back one place on the Friday. With six boats in total taking part it was an exciting week for Magdalen rowing.
