We are sad to announce the death of Emeritus Fellow Professor Oliver Braddick who passed away on 17 January 2022 surrounded by friends and family.
Braddick was elected Emeritus Fellow in 2001, the same year he became a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the head of the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, a role he kept until his retirement in 2011.
His research focused on the mechanisms of visual perception and their development in infancy and childhood, particularly spatial and motion vision.
