We warmly invite you and a guest to an evening talk with Dr Julia Ebner, award-winning author and Magdalen College researcher on extremism and radicalisation. Named Austrian of the Year for her ground-breaking work, she has gone undercover in extremist networks and advised governments and institutions worldwide.

Fringe movements once confined to the margins – incels, conspiracy theorists, and white supremacists – are increasingly influencing politics, media, and culture. What makes their ideas so appealing, and how do they enter the mainstream? In this talk, Dr Julia Ebner explores the psychology of extremism, its growing reach in the UK and beyond, and its implications for the future of democracy.

The talk will include a Q&A and be followed by a drinks reception.
