Alumni and guests are invited to join Jeremy Goulding (1969) for a talk in the Summer Common Room about the much-loved 9 Longwall Street landlady Elsie Nash (1904-1977), in conjunction with the Old Library exhibition on ‘The Spirit of the Place’: Magdalen and its Staff from Foundation to Present Day.

Jeremy’s book about Elsie’s life, The Last of the Mullicans will be available to order at the event. All are welcome to come along and hear about this slice of Magdalen history, and we will be delighted to seat those who remember Elsie together at the Alumni Dinner that evening.
