We are delighted to invite those who matriculated between 1975 and 1978 to a Gaudy dinner on Saturday 29th June 2024.
This event is now fully booked. Please contact the Alumni Office if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
The programme:
12pm onwards: The College and grounds will be open for members and their guests.
3pm-6pm: Gaudy packs and name badges will be available for collection in the Summer Common Room with access to the Old Library: AC.S. Lewis: Words & Worlds, curated by Professor Simon Horobin, Fellow and Tutor in English at Magdalen and Dr Lucy Gwynn, College Librarian.
3.30pm-4.30pm: Members and their guests are invited to an informal tea in the President’s Garden.
4.30pm-5.15pm: An update and Q&A from the President in the Auditorium about the College’s plans, including the redevelopment of the Waynflete Building and the Old Kitchen Bar.
6pm: Choral Evensong in Chapel, sung by the College Choir.
6.45pm: Reception on Cloisters Lawn.
7.15pm: Dinner in Hall for members only. Dress black tie or equivalent.
Afterwards: There will be a cash bar in the Old Kitchen Bar until 12am
Please note the alumni event programme does not make a profit: all events are either priced to break even or are subsidised.
