Through the generosity of Mr Zvi Meitar, a Waynflete Fellow at Magdalen, a scholarship for graduate study in the sciences was advertised to start in October 2013. The first student to be awarded the Scholarship is Mr Max Marcus who will undertake research in the Department of Chemistry.
Professor David Clary, President of Magdalen, said “Raising funds for graduate study is a major priority at Magdalen and we are delighted that Zvi Meitar has provided this scholarship. Mr Meitar has made several significant donations to the College in recent years and the scholarship is yet another example of his magnificent generosity”.
