Two-factor authentication

To set up two-factor authentication (2FA) you’ll need an authenticator app, which you might already have one. Any app that supports time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) will work, such as:

• Microsoft Authenticator
• Google Authenticator
• Authy
• 1Password
• LastPass Authenticator

Once you’ve chosen an app:

1. Log in to the website
2. Go to your profile and scroll to the bottom
3. Click Activate 2FA
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the text code if you can’t scan it)
5. Download the recovery codes and keep them somewhere safe
6. Enter the code from your authenticator app to confirm and activate 2FA
