A Service of Thanksgiving in celebration of the life and work of Dr James Whitbourn (Magdalen 1982) will be held in the College Chapel on Saturday 16th November 2024, at 2.30pm.
Parking is not available at Magdalen College except for those with wheelchair requirements. The nearest public car park is at St Clement’s, and spaces are available on Longwall Street and at the various Park and Ride stops on the edge of the city. The Chapel is a short walk from the High Street stop of the Oxford Tube bus service between Oxford and London, and a 20-minute walk (or short taxi ride) from the railway station.
Refreshments will be served at Harris Manchester College after the service.
Those attending the service are asked to be seated by 2.20pm.
