As the Chapel Verger, I am responsible for setting up the chapel for services, welcoming the congregation and clearing away afterwards. On a few occasions I become a formal verger, leading processions with Magdalen’s beautiful ‘verge’, a silver rod for clearing crowds from our path.I very much enjoy being part of the close-knit chapel and choir team.
