Role in College:

I primarily deal with the small items that keep the Chapel running. A sample of these may include: order of ecclesiastical supplies, production of service sheets, chapel bookings and secretarial duties for meetings of the Chapel and Choir Committee.

Background:

My studies were at the University of Kent, in Canterbury – consisting of a BA in History and an MA in Medieval and Early Modern Studies: the focus of these dealing with a variety of material, from Anglo-Saxon Culture to French Absolutism to St Hildegard of Bingen (the Sibyl of the Rhine) to the Falklands Conflict. Since that time I have been largely living in Cambridge and working in an eclectic variety of roles in publishing, with stints in production and editorial. This included some time (literally, not figuratively) on Fleet Street. Thus, I am a recent transplant to Oxford – but the steady turn of the liturgical year is familiar to me, as a mainstay of the serving team and organiser of the Reading Rota at the Church of Little St Mary’s, Cambridge.
