Magdalen graduate Jake Emerson (2020) has been awarded this year’s prestigious Eldon Law Scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded to a student intending to follow a career at the Bar who has been placed in either the First Class of the BA in Law or in Law Studies in Europe, or has been awarded a Distinction in the degree of BCL or the MJur.
Whilst at Magdalen, Jake won the Vinerian Scholarship for best performance in the BCL in 2025, and his BCL studies were fully funded by the Oxford-Feltham Graduate Scholarship.
Jake will soon be starting his pupillage at Fountain Court Chambers. We wish him all the best for the future.
