From 8–11 April, the University of Oxford hosted the 18th International Roman Law Moot, welcoming teams from eight European universities. The competition, based on a case devised by Professor Wolfgang Ernst, featured rounds held at the Law Faculty, Christ Church, and All Souls College.

Oxford’s team, including Magdalen second-year Kabir Suri, won the competition, with Suri also recognised as the second-best speaker. The team was coached by Professor Ciara Kennefick.

The final was judged by a panel led by Lord Sales (UK Supreme Court) and held at All Souls College. Participants also enjoyed formal dinners and music, with thanks to hosts and contributors across the university. Organisers Professors Ernst and Kennefick expressed gratitude to all supporters, especially mooting coordinator Dr Benjamin Spagnolo (Cambridge).
