Four beautiful stained glass panels have been mounted in the foyer of the Wolsey Room.
The panels, known as Hardman stained glass armorial panels, are part of a group which includes the windows in the Wolsey Room itself.
The panels were found in storage in the tunnels under New Building. The glass was in poor condition when they were uncovered, but it was clear that the artwork was of exceptional quality, depicting lions, dogs, and dragons, as well as the coat of arms of Cardinal Wolsey.
Over the past few years, the glass has been slowly restored by Mark Bambrough.
The panels are displayed on light boxes created by The Stained Glass Display Company.
