Two members of the MCBC will row in this weekend’s Boat Race.
Freya Willis (2021), who is studying History, will be in the four seat of the Women’s Blue Boat, and Tom Sharrock (2021), who is studying Engineering Science, will be in the two seat of the Men’s Blue Boat.
The annual rowing contest between crews from Oxford and Cambridge will take place on Sunday 26 March. The Women’s Boat Race will start at 4.00pm, and the Men’s Boat Race will begin at 5.00pm.
Oxford University Boat Club has won the Boat Race 80 times, compared with 85 wins for the Cambridge University Boat Club, and Oxford University Women’s Boat Club has won 30 times, with 35 wins for the women’s team of the Cambridge University Boat Club (CUBC).
