Huge congratulations to Magdalen Emeritus Fellow Professor David Clark CBE and his wife, Professor of Experimental Psychopathology at Wolfson College, Anke Ehlers, who have won the 2024 Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award for their pioneering work on improving and expanding access to mental health treatments. Their efforts in developing better, more accessible therapies have significantly advanced mental health care, positively impacting countless lives.

The prestigious Knowledge Award, launched in 2014, honours extraordinary contributions to science and innovation that positively impact society.

Other 2024 recipients include Andrew Ng for his work in artificial intelligence, Ahmed Eid Khamis Thani Almheiri for theoretical physics, and Juma Al Masjid for preserving historical documents.
