Calleva Research Centre Distinguished Visitor

Emma Pinchbeck

26 March 2026

The College is delighted to announce that Emma Pinchbeck, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee, will serve as the inaugural Calleva Research Centre Distinguished Visitor for 2026–27.

The Distinguished Visitor scheme brings leading practitioners into collaboration with Calleva research projects, strengthening links between academic research and policymaking while supporting impactful, policy-relevant work.

Emma will visit the College at the end of Tuesday 28 April with colleagues from the Climate Change Committee. She will present findings from a recent CCC report on the costs and energy security implications of the UK’s Seventh Carbon Budget, showing that achieving Net Zero delivers greater long-term economic benefits than continued reliance on fossil fuels. The presentation will be followed by an audience discussion.
