Forbes' 30 under 30

20 April 2026

Recent Magdalen physics student Brandon Abreu Smith (2019) has been named in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Europe AI category alongside fellow Oxford graduates Issy Greenslade and Raymond Zhao for their work with Structured AI.

Structured AI was founded in 2025 to develop software that helps engineers review construction designs more quickly and accurately. Its tools automatically check drawings for errors, safety issues, and regulatory compliance.

Forbes’ list recognises the “most dynamic young innovators, entrepreneurs and changemakers” who are “shaping the future of Europe and beyond”.

“For a long time, getting into Oxford felt like my biggest achievement,” said Brandon. “Since starting this company, I’ve realised it was really just the beginning. Building a startup has given me the chance to work towards something even bigger with an incredible team, and being named in Forbes 30 Under 30 is a huge honour and a meaningful reminder of how far we’ve come.”
