The Choir of Magdalen College Oxford, accompanied on the new Eule organ by Alexander Pott, with renowned soloists and former Academical Clerks, Robin Horgan and Giles Underwood, sings the popular sacred cantata, The Crucifixion, composed by former Organist of Magdalen (and later Heather Professor of Music), Sir John Stainer. The audience will be encouraged (but not obliged!) to join in the singing of the well-known hymns that punctuate the Passion narrative.
