We were pleased to have hosted Magdalen’s Artist in Residence, Francis Hamel’s (1982) newest exhibition, The Oxford Paintings this spring. Francis has built an international reputation for his landscape paintings and portraits, as well as his finely structured compositions of trees and flowers.
The collection features paintings of Magdalen, as well as the city of Oxford more widely.
The exhibition was curated by the John Martin Gallery.
