17 November 2022

The Seminar will be delivered by Magdalen Fellow Professor Tim Barraclough (Department of Biology and Magdalen College, University of Oxford). He will describe new approaches being taken to the control of plant disease using RNA-based technology, informed by the evolutionary histories of fungal pathogens.

Tim Barraclough is leading an interdisciplinary team that brings together plant science, evolutionary biology, economics and industrial expertise recently awarded research project funding by the Calleva Centre for Evolution and Human Science at Magdalen College. This event will be held in the Magdalen Auditorium and you can either attend in person or watch the livestream via Zoom.
