The College has a small number of Fellows’ guest rooms which may be made available to members for their personal use. These can be booked no earlier than one week in advance. Please complete this enquiry form.
Chapel Services
The Revd Dr Andrew Bowyer, Dean of Divinity, and Mr Mark Williams, Informator Choristarum, welcome members and their families and friends to Chapel services. Evensong is sung every night in term at 6.00pm except Tuesday, and there is Sung Eucharist every Sunday morning in term at 11.00am.
College Library
All graduates of the University of Oxford are entitled to apply for free admission to Oxford Library Services. Further information can be found on the Bodleian Libraries website or by telephoning +44 (0)1865 277180. Magdalen alumni are very welcome to use the College library, space permitting. Books are available for reference only. Please contact the Library Team to arrange your visit.

Gaudy
College holds two gaudies per year, in September and March. Alumni will receive invitations to their year-group gaudy, and dates and details of gaudies and other forthcoming alumni events can be found on the events page.

Alumni-only Web Area
Booking for alumni events, updating mailing preferences and other alumni-focused information and news can be accessed in the Alumni Area of the website at: www.alumniweb.ox.ac.uk/magdalen. The first time you use this, you will need to register for an account using your Alumni Number (which appears at the top left of all Magdalen alumni e-newsletters). If you already have a login for the University’s alumni website, you can use this on our site too. If you have any problems signing up for an account, or need us to send you your alumni number, please email alumni.office@magd.ox.ac.uk.

Taking your MA, MPhil or DPhil Degree
Information about getting your BA, MA, MPhil or DPhil degree can be obtained from Katie Taylor-O’Connor in the Grammar Hall.

Visiting College (including Car Parking)
The following information only applies when the College is able to open to visitors, based on government guidelines. Please refer to this webpage to find out the latest.
The College is open to Magdalen members and a small number of guests at any reasonable time and without a visitors’ charge, but please note the College is completely closed around Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Please identify yourself to the Porters or visitors’ staff in the Lodge. The Grounds and Chapel are open 10.00am-3.30pm on New Year’s Day.
The Old Kitchen Bar is normally open for food Monday-Saturday from 10.00am-5.30pm in term time and 10.00am-6.30pm seven days a week in the Long Vacation. During term time it is also open 6.00pm-11.30pm, bar only.
College is generally unable to provide car parking owing to pressure on space. We recommend travelling by public transport or using the Park and Ride facilities offered by Oxford City Council (with 24 hour security). More information is available on the Park and Ride website. Please contact the Lodge Manager (E: andy.higgs@magd.ox.ac.uk T: +44 (0) 1865 276003) to enquire about Blue Badge parking. Those who are guests of a Member of the College should make arrangements through their host.
