Waynflete Dinner, Friday, 7 May 2021

By Order of the College, the Waynflete Dinner will be held on Friday, 7 May 2021.

Each Fellow is entitled to nominate one guest.  The choice of guest is at each Fellow’s discretion, but the custom has been to choose someone of interest or distinction in the academic world, in the arts, or in public life.

Please approach your prospective guest yourself (if you wish to nominate one), and ask if he or she would be able to attend the Dinner.  Once that is determined, please complete the form below giving the guest’s name and address.

I shall then send an invitation to your nominated guest in the name of the President and Fellows, mentioning that it comes at your behest, together with a reply card for him or her to accept formally and also to indicate whether accommodation and car-parking space is required for that night.

Dinner will be in Hall at 7.30 p.m. Evening dress (dinner jackets for men; equivalent for ladies).  Champagne will be served in the Senior Common Room from 6.45 p.m.  You may like to take your guest to Choral Evensong, which is at 6.00 pm.
