Having studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge University, I moved into the voluntary sector starting my career managing and growing an overseas gap year programme. Developing my people management skills I then moved in to Human Resources, and studied for my management and HR qualifications at Oxford Brookes Business School. I have been a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 2005. I come to Magdalen, following extensive experience in international head of people and culture roles.

Role in the College

My role as Interim Human Resources Manager is to oversee all aspects of Human Resources within the College, focusing particularly on academic staff. I also advise and support all managers in immigration and employee relations, and ensure that HR policies are applied in a fair and consistent manner throughout the College.
