Originally from Essex, I read chemistry at Jesus College, Oxford, graduating in 2015. Following this I completed my PhD at the University of Aarhus under Prof. Henrik Stapelfeldt, where I was funded by the Marie Curie MEDEA Innovative Training Network. During my PhD I studied the manipulation and structural imaging of weakly-bound molecular clusters embedded in superfluid helium nanodroplets using femtosecond laser pulses.
Since obtaining my PhD, I have worked as a Physical Chemistry Teaching Fellow at the University of Leicester, and started teaching at Magdalen in October 2019. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I teach all aspects of physical and theoretical chemistry.
