Undergraduate
Inexpensive meals are available in College – breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Hall, and lunch in the Old Kitchen Bar (OKB). There are also kitchen facilities throughout College accommodation. Most students eat in Hall or the Bar once or twice a day, and cook the other meal or meals for themselves. Between £7 and £9 per day for three College meals is average, thus the cost for a 59-night term would be approximately £500.
From October 2013 there will be a termly charge for catering made up of a redeemable element and a fixed element. The 2013/14 rate for students living in College accommodation is £200 per term, of which, £150 is redeemable in Hall or the OKB, up to 31st July. Anything left unspent by 31st July is foregone. The redeemable element cannot be used for drinks in the OKB. The 2013/14 rate for students not living in College accommodation is £30 per term. An alternative option of a fixed charge of £80 per term will be available, with no redeemable element.
Students with a disability
The College has a lift to the dining hall with a capacity of 630kg or 5 persons. The OKB is level, going from the Cloisters, and has plenty of room for wheelchairs. It is regretted however that the riverside terrace is not accessible being down three steps.
