Magdalen is seeking to endow a fund in memory of David Lewin (Modern Languages, 1983) to support graduate scholarships in Modern Languages.
We are aiming to raise at least £100,000 which will provide an annual award of £3,500 towards a graduate student’s living costs. Magdalen aspires to be able to provide living costs funding (currently £15,245) to every graduate offered a place, to be paired with the fees awards attributed by the University. The David Lewin Scholarship will make a meaningful difference to Modern Languages graduate students at Oxford in perpetuity. All contributions of any size to the fund are welcomed and will help achieve our aim.
