Mini-mentorship programme

BECOME A ‘MINI-MENTOR’
Do you remember how it felt to leave Magdalen? Perhaps you had a clear career path in mind, or decided to continue studying, or maybe you didn’t yet know what you wanted to do or how to get there.

Sometimes a quick chat with someone who has gone before you can make all the difference to pointing you in the right direction. Our new mini-mentorships programme is designed to connect current students and recent leavers with alumni who can offer advice and guidance to our students and newest alumni as they embark on their careers.

As a volunteer you will be added to our pool of Magdalen alumni ‘mini-mentors’. This could involve anything from answering a few questions by email, or reviewing a CV or application, to having a virtual meeting, making introductions to others who can help, or even offering work experience. You can contribute as much or as little of your time as you can spare to helping those following in your footsteps who are in need of a helping hand at the beginning of their careers.

If you’d like to help please complete this form and we will be in touch shortly. Feel free to contact the Alumni Office if you have any questions.

Please note that the Alumni Office will never share your contact details without your permission. Mentees will only see your line of work and area of expertise, and if they choose to get in touch with you we will forward a message to you on their behalf.
