Academic Background

Zhong has been a university lecturer in Department of Engineering Science and a tutorial fellow of Magdalen College since 1998. He received his PhD from Cambridge in 1994 and then became a research fellow at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He got his first degree from Shanghai Jiaotong Uniersity in China.

Zhong teaches structure and material related papers.

Research Interests

Zhong's main research interests are unconventional structures, in particular, structures whose geometry can be altered to meet certain practical requirements. Please refer to his home page for details.
