On 17 March 2012 the College held a Philosophy Symposium to celebrate the career of Dr Ralph Walker.
Speakers included Terry Irwin, Professor of Ancient Philosophy, University of Oxford, Christopher Peacocke, Professor of Philosophy, Columbia University and Ralph Wedgwood, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California.
The discussions did much to bring back memories of philosophy tutorials for the 150 members present. At the dinner in the evening in the College Hall, President David Clary was delighted to announce the naming of the Ralph Walker Fellowship in Philosophy.
