On September 6 a reception was held for Magdalen members in the spectacular setting of the American Club in Hong Kong. The evening was generously hosted by Magdalen old member Jesse Bhattal (PPE, 1979). Members who matriculated over a fifty year period were present. In his welcoming speech the President David Clary emphasised the very strong links of the College with Hong Kong and thanked those present for their magnificent support for Magdalen projects ranging from Scholarships to Tutorial and Research Fellowships.
