His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan and Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema visited Magdalen College on Saturday 26 November 2011. The King was a student at the College in 2000. The College was honoured that the King and Queen could visit Magdalen just six weeks after their Royal Wedding in Bhutan.
The King and Queen were received by the President David Clary and Mrs Heather Clary in St John’s Quad (see picture).
