After graduating from the Queen’s University Belfast and the University of Leiden, I began my career as a trainee with the European Commission and subsequently spent 2 years in Brussels helping cultural and educational institutions access EU funding. I then moved to Eastern Europe spending 4 years working across the region in a business development role for BPP, one of the UK’s leading professional education companies. In 2002 I returned to the UK to take up a role in the Development Office at St Peter’s College and I’ve remained in Oxford since that time, arriving at Magdalen in November 2009.
I head up the Development Office at Magdalen overseeing all fundraising and alumni relations activities. Much of my time is spent outside of College visiting Magdalen old members in the UK and abroad; this is definitely the best part of the job!
