Department: Modern Languages
College appointment: Lectrice in French

I studied in classe préparatoire at Louis-le-Grand (Paris) for two years, and then at École Normale Supérieure (Ulm) from 2012 to 2017. At the same time, I completed a Licence degree in English studies, and then a Master’s in Anglophone Literature at Université Paris-Diderot. I taught French language classes at the University of Nottingham during the academic year 2014/2015, before coming back to France to take the Agrégation of English, which I obtained in 2016.

Lectrice in French for the academic year 2017/2018.

I am mainly interested in visual poetry, especially the interplay between text and image. My research aims at exploring questions of form, transversality, and different modes of seeing. During my Master’s, I specialised in Romantic studies, and focused on the illuminated works of William Blake. I am currently preparing a PhD on Blake’s later prophetic books.
