MC:P297 Photograph album of William Lang Vince (1890–1917)
William Lang Vince (1890–1917) came up to Magdalen in 1909 as an Exhibitioner. He received a second class degree in Literae Humaniores in 1913. He was President of the Boat Club in 1913, the year in which the College retained Headship of the River. He was killed in action in France, 1917.
The provenance of this album is unknown.
The album consists of images of Magdalen College buildings as well as rowing regattas and practice sessions. There is also a Vote of Congratulations to Vince from Magdalen JCR on retaining the Headship of the River. No individuals are identified.
