Philip Quixano Henriques Simon (1902–71) was a commoner at Magdalen from 1922–5, getting a Third in History. On leaving Magdalen, he worked for a while in the London Stock Exchange, before becoming Rural Industries Organizer for the West Riding of Yorkshire
