MC:F35/MS3 Papers relating to Botanical History
MS papers of R.T. Gunther about Walter Stonehouse (F 1617), dated 23 February 1920, about Stonehouse’s work as a botanist. Gunther appears to have been preparing a biographical piece about Stonehouse with emphasis on his scientific achievements.
6 letters to Gunther concerning his researches about Stonehouse. All six letters are from 1920. Two are from Darfield Rectory, where Stonehouse had been Rector, two are from the Royal Botanic Gardens, one from the British Museum and one from Brentford.
In addition, there are two photostatic copies of MS. Ashmole 826.
